Introduction

The Great Western Community Forest team organises public events throughout the year which are generally free and therefore accessible to all. These events include tree planting and clear up days, family fun days, public consultation, awareness raising activity and festivals, including the much loved Forest Festival which attracts audiences of over 5,000 each year.

These events and activities are promoted via our twice yearly newsletter, 'Forest Focus' and individual event literature which have a broad circulation. If you are not already on our mailing list please add your details to the questionnaire on our Contact Us page. We'll be happy to forward our event details to you throughout the year.
