Key Projects

Introduction

The Great Western Community Forest partnership has been involved in a huge number of projects since its inception in 1994 and continues to play a significant role in creating new project opportunities and supporting partners in a broad range of project activity.

These projects range from local tree planting events to green infrastructure planning, from lottery funded heritage projects to the creation of Woodland for Learning programmes and business and volunteering opportunities.

The Forest team is involved in all aspects of project development including fundraising, project management, public consultation and evaluation, research, marketing and facilitation.
