Cricklade Country Way

Green Infrastructure Plan 2007

The Cricklade Country Way (CCW) Project is seeking to create a recreational corridor linking urban Swindon and the Saxon town of Cricklade, the Cotswold Water Park and the River Thames.

In helping to develop the detailed business plan for the CCW, the Great Western Community Forest team was tasked with producing a ‘Green Infrastructure (GI) Plan’ for the corridor. The GI plan identifies opportunities and puts forward proposals to enhance the provision of GI in the project area.

As the GI plan is a large document we have broken it down into sections for ease of viewing. The maps in the document can also be viewed separately. The following sections of the GI Plan are available as downloadable PDF documents.

Section 3: Presents a detailed analysis of current GI provision in the project area (1.7Mb)
